Dr. Felicia Mebane sits down with Dr. Jamela Martin, Department Chair of the Nursing and Allied Health Department at Norfolk State University. They discuss here educational and career path along with her current position. They talk about health disparities and issues that impact birth outcomes for women along with the her current student's community health project. Dr. Martin also shares her passion for helping to assure that more people of color enter the nursing field.
