Glenn is an expert in behavioral therapies, having authored early publications on Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP)—a sister science to ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). On the podcast, Glenn discusses applying behavioral concepts and basic science in general to direct practice. Glenn shares his perspective on current issues in the contextual behavioral science world regarding boundary issues with evocative interpersonal therapeutic contact and shares advancements being made with the Functional Idiographic Assessment Template (FIAT); integrating functional analysis and functional assessment (Glenn discusses as being more accessible to clinicians) into direct practice for clinical behavioral analysis, psychotherapy, counselling, and more.
