The original song by Halsey was stuck in my mind since our breakup. I had to make a cover just to try and express how I feel. I thought it would be the perfect song to cover, with her point of view in mind. I hope that makes sense? Probably does, right?

Anyway, this 7-minute track took me about 30 hours to compose -- about 20 on the guitar solo alone. I looked at Dream Theater, Jun Senoue, and Johnathan Young as my inspirations.
