Evangelism is not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Evangelism exists because worship doesn’t.

To know the will of God, we need an open Bible and an open map.

When our hearts are increasingly warmed by the gospel, our witness sounds less and less like the work of a lawyer and more like the songs of a poet.

Sharing the gospel is like walking around in a thunderstorm and handing out lightning rods. You don’t know when the lightning is going to strike or who it will strike, but you know what it’s going to strike—the lightning rod of the gospel. And when it does, that person’s lightning rod is going to be charged with the power of God and he or she is going to believe.

Jesus, save the lost and guide the saved.

Jesus, I recognize that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins. I want to turn away from my sins and place my trust in You as my Lord and Savior. Please receive me now. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.
