For Herman Lindsey, the debate over the death penalty is personal. Very, very personal. That's because he was on Death Row, convicted of a crime for which he was eventually exonerated. In other words, he was scheduled to die for a crime he did not commit. Now Lindsey works to end the death penalty and currently-scheduled executions across the country, arguing that there are many others in the same situation he experienced.
