Whenever I get the opportunity to watch butterflies engage in cross pollination, I don't let it slip by. So yesterday, while walking through our church premises after Mass, I caught sight of these delicate creatures working tirelessly. Lol.
The beautiful flowers in my church's premises were in full bloom, thereby attracting a flurry of butterflies. They were busy flitting from petal to petal, collecting nectar and facilitating cross-pollination. Seeing this natural spectacle, I couldn't resist capturing it on video. I'm sure you'll do same if you saw them, because it was mesmerizing sight, pure bliss.
I must confess that it was interesting to watch these flurry creatures carry out their duties with precision and intentionality. I was fascinated by how they dipped their proboscis right into the flowers, gathering sweetness and transferring pollen.
And you know the funny thing, the sun was in full glow but I felt non of it's effect, hehehe. In fact, I even drew curious glances and side comments from some church members, but I didn't let that distract me. I can bet some even wondered if I've gone nuts, lol.
I hope you'll enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoyed filming it.
