God publicly endorsed Jesus the Nazarene by doing powerful miracles, wonders, and signs through him, as you well know. 23 But God knew what would happen, and his prearranged plan was carried out when Jesus was betrayed. With the help of lawless Gentiles, you nailed him to a cross and killed him. 24 But God released him from the horrors of death and raised him back to life, for death could not keep him in its grip. Delivering is big business today (UPS, FEDEX , Amazon, etc.) THE GREATEST DELIVERY BUSINESS IS GOD’S DELIVERY BUSINESS. THE FATHER DELIVERED THE SON INTO THE PRESENCE OF MAN. The Gospel is a spiritual Gift certificate A gift certificate is a promissory note. The gift has ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR and is yours for the claiming. The gospel promises salvation for the claiming. Jesus was sent by the father to die for the sins of people. THE SON DELIVERS SINNERS INTO THE PRESENCE OF THE FATHER. The custom of ancient courts. A steward controlled audience with the king.
