In the latest Book Club Tadd follows Roland and his young friends into the party at Mayor's house, meet some of the ranchers, Roland meets Susan for the first time again, later he talks to some ranchers to get an idea of how many horses they have and he finds out Susan's situation. Also the Mayor and his inner circle talk after the meeting about their read on the boys.
