What do you do when your church wants to meet a justice need, but the neighborhood doesn’t support you?

One of the harshest criticisms against the church has been that we don’t do enough to take care of the hurting and the poor. I’ve heard it many times. I’ve probably even said it many times. But, what happens when your church wants to step into that gap and help meet a justice need, but you’re met with disdain from the neighbors surrounding your church?
