Howcan I learn to read people?

My job is based on being good at reading people. People oftenthink that I am psychic, I am not, I am just very good at reading people.

My answer is an adjunct to what is already answered, so I won’trepeat.

How to read people:

1.      Learn microexpressions. They are quick and easy tolearn, and one of the most helpful pieces of information about what a person isactually feeling.

2.     Copy their body language. In therapy if I am having achallenge feeling what a person is feeling, I copy their body language andfacial expression. The mirror neurons in my brain will let me know what theyare feeling.

3.     People always tell you about themselves, in what theytalk about. Take a look at Quora for example. What are the topics people talkabout, that tells you about who they are.

4.     Listen to the questions people ask. Humans arerelatively self-serving, so questions will be asked that they want to knowabout, and what they want to know about is revealing.

5.     Listen to what people tell you. When someone says, youcan trust me…they have just told me that I can’t. Someone who is trustworthywould not bother saying that. When someone says I won’t lie to you, radar goesup.

6.     Watch for changes in habit.

7.     Low and slow vocal tones, mean a person is regulatedand in their emotional brain, fast and higher pitch means they are accessingtheir cognitive brain.
