💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: If we do not repent, Jesus has one word for us, “Woe, to you” (Matthew 11:21). Let me start right off by informing us of a few things, #1 Christ Jesus is on His way back. #2 When He returns, He will have His reward with Him and He will give to every last single person what they deserve according to what they have done, whether that be good or evil. #3 There is a huge misconception roaming around the Body of Christ: you can say a “sinner's prayer/poem” and not have a change of life and still make it into God's Kingdom. It is called “Once saved, I'm always saved!” Brothers and sisters as we should know, this is false doctrine. In Christ Jesus, we put away sin and live obedient lives as “we are waiting (confidently) for the hope of righteousness (the completion of our salvation)” (Galatians 5:5). BUT “once saved/always saved” says your salvation is complete now, so “live your best life now”!

However, the Bible says to receive the gift of salvation by grace through faith, one must REPENT! There must be a change of mind that will lead to a change in one's sinful lifestyle of living, actually regretting it! No one is excluded from Jesus’ demand to repent. He made this clear when a group of people came to Him with news of two calamities. Innocent people had been killed by Pilate’s massacre and by the fall of the tower of Siloam (Luke 13:1-4). Jesus took the occasion to warn even the bearers of the news: “I tell you, no; but unless you repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways and live changed lives], you will all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3, 5). What did He mean by perish? He meant that the Final Judgment of God would fall on those who don’t repent!

Let's make this plain: We are commanded in Scripture to be holy, be faithful, and be obedient to the One who died and shed His blood on our lowly sinful wretched behalf as we await His return! PERIOD!! Let's make this even plainer: eternal life is for those who remain faithful to Jesus unto death.

Eternal life is not granted just because one confesses Jesus with their mouth, then live the rest of their lives like Hell on earth or lukewarm under the teachings of apostates! We are commanded not to take His grace as a cloak, a smoke screen, for malicious behavior. Eternal life is for the one who listens, follows, and obeys Jesus unto death, that is the "them" He was talking about who will receive eternal life. Remember Lord Jesus says in Matthew 6:24 "You cannot, no one can serve two masters." Either you are going to be devoted to Him unto death or Satan unto the Lake of Fire and the false doctrine of “Once Saved/Always Saved” will not help you!

WE ARE COMMANDED TO: Live clean. Be Holy. Live for God.

Amen! 🎯 REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
