WOKE BELGIUM (VICKTORIA 3 FULL PLAYTHROUGH)

CONRADS, for once we will be doing some WOKE content!

It's a victoria 3 full gameplay playthrough on linux with me, Turbles Celbor. I will attempt to create a truly egalitarian society in belgium in the face of the imperial pressures, ideally after conquering the north (get that squared away).

We've done a few longplays of victoria 3 on this channel, but never a commentary playthrough. Unlike before we are playing a recognized minor power, which should help diplomacy immensely. I am also playing with the most recent commerce expansion, which has an actual world market to interact with.

Victoria 3 is a grand strategy game by paradox interactive. Instead of being played out in a series of turns, the game advances in real time and the player has the ability to pause. You will no doubt see the majority of my playtime will be in paused mode.

This is part 1, our biggest hurdle will be how we deal with the Netherlands, which happens very early in the game. My ideal outcome is unification under Belgium, my acceptable outcome is getting Luxemburg, and the worst outcome would be losing everything and being forced to pursue colonial ambitions in the Congo.
