The first step in solving a problem is to recognize that you have one. We are fortunate we now have a Commander-in-Chief and Secretary of Defense who fully see the problems caused by wokeism in all its forms in our armed forces. The distractions of these unnecessary policies harm readiness, recruiting, and the overall ability of our nation to defeat our enemies in war. We have many enemies. We need a DOD focused only on how to strengthen defense systems with the right strategies and with the best people, regardless of the color of their skin or any other difference. Warfighting lethality that deters wars, that is the mission, and we now have a team focused on developing the strategy and policies necessary to achieve that. But DOD is the most massive organization and it will take time and extreme determination to find and eliminate every woke policy and the individuals resisting the changes.
