Leonardo DiCaprio has become infamous for his record of almost exclusively dating women under the age of 25.

Although there has certainly been a lot of chatter and jokes, the 48-year-old has pretty much had a flak-free dating life, but if a 50-year-old was dating a 20-year-old in normal life it is likely to raise a lot of eyebrows and be subject to a fair amount of criticism. So why are celebrities allowed to date people half their age in a way that wouldn't be accepted in normal society?
