In this episode, we explore women’s roles in church leadership and the family.

Join us as we walk through Old and New Testament cases (Miriam, Deborah, Anna, Lydia, Phoebe). We discuss 1 Timothy 2:11–15 and other related texts to more fully explain qualifications for elders and deacons.

We use Scripture to show the distinction between teaching authority and public ministry and see how God uses the family as training for church leadership. While women are the primary topic we show how Scripture underscored the call for men to lead with sacrificial love while honoring women’s God-given gifts.
