South Africa is really not doing well when it comes to mathematics and science. Universities are concerned at the decline in numbers for maths and science. Our guest this morning says that she dreams of a day when she will see an African child appreciating and relating to the science underpinning everyday life, and hopes to be remembered as an African woman dedicated to science.
