During this breakout summer for women's soccer, the excitement wasn't limited to traditional hotbeds, in fact, tournaments were held on every inhabited continent. Producer Jordan Rizzieri traveled to England for the 2022 European Women's Football Championship which ended with the hosts defeating Germany 2-1 in the final. What she saw in the cradle of soccer felt like nothing short of a turning point for the beautiful game.
