Women only make up about 3% of all the building trades across the United States - even though the industry offers good wages, health care, and a quality retirement. In this episode, April Ogden, President of Local 809 and Regional Apprenticeship Coordinator, illustrates the opportunities within the Laborers' Union. Although her journey is a winding and adventurous path; she will explain how other women can achieve success with a comparable attitude and drive.
