Dr Jean Venables CBE is a civil engineer who became the first female president of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2008; she is a proponent of sustainability projects and has been featured by photographer Anita Corbin in her exhibition called First Women UK which features ordinary women achieving extraordinary things
