The Menopause Playbook

Women | Mental Health | Black Community

Listen Later

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This episode is dedicated to women, but specifically Black Women. For years the Black community has either stigmatized therapy for White women, or degraded it because Black people don't see therapist or use the old saying "let God be your therapist". I discuss the importance of therapy, the myths, and share some tips on how to manage your mental health.
