Wikipedia defined self-love as "love of self" or "regard for one's own happiness or advantage". It was conceptualized both as a basic human necessity and as a moral flaw because people saw it as being likened to vanity and selfishness.
However, throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, self-love has adopted a more positive connotation through pride parades. It is being seen as an empowerment tool especially for protecting people’s mental well being.
In summary, self-love is not a sin. Neither does it make you a selfish person.
