The safety of breast implants has been questioned many times over the past few decades, most recently in late March. Several women spoke out about symptoms and even cancer they believe to have been caused by their breast implants. The FDA held a two-day meeting and concluded that two different implant manufacturers failed to properly conduct required long-term studies meant to track the safety of their implants.
