About Liza Horowitz
My career roles have all focused on making sales easier in new markets and have always stepped into newly created roles. My experience spans multiple industries, for both private, public and start-up companies. I’ve held corporate development, business development, marketing, corporate communication, investment and sales roles. The first half of my career I spent 10 years in the financial services business with the same team, here I was a certified investment manager and the first person at my firm to become dual licensed. Having a young family, I felt I missed important milestones. Crunching numbers, I figured out how to earn less yet still make ends meet and become a Pilates instructor. Having different networks, I saw a different way how people live and cared for the environment. I started to learn about my bioregion, environment and dove into a career in the environmental field. Here my career lasted 8 years and moved jobs five times. While working full-time, I became an accredited LEED AP and completed my Masters in Environmental Science in 2014. I am self-taught in the blockchain space.
