Stephanie J Hale BEM is a former BBC and IRN newsreader who loves discovering fresh talent and turning unknown writers into best-selling authors featuring on radio and TV.
She’s experienced in working with literary agents and Hollywood film producers, as well as negotiating book serialisations and giveaways in newspapers and magazines.
She’s author of 11 books and has worked with some of the most iconic authors and well-known entrepreneurs alive today. Contributors to her books include: Kelly Hoppen (Dragon’s Den), Tony Mascolo (Tony&Guy), Peter Hargreaves (Hargreaves Lansdown), and Malcolm Walker (Iceland stores) to name but a few.
Stephanie is founder of Oxford Literary Consultancy and business publisher, Powerhouse Publications. She’s former Assistant Director of Creative Writing at Oxford University and has also advised authors at Cambridge University, The Society of Authors, and The Arts Council of England.
She was awarded a British Empire Medal for services to authors and publishing in the Queen’s New Year Honours’ List 2017.
