According to the Law Society of South Africa, only 21% of admitted attorneys are black women. According to the SA Women Lawyers Association, only 28% of admitted advocates are black women.

Whilst the profession is often described as traditionally white and male dominated, there are female-led firms emerging and resetting the scales of justice. Our next guest shares her journey on how women are advancing in the legal sphere, what challenges are they facing and how do we use those platforms to build a stronger network of female lawyers regarding different specialisation.
