Smith, Chair of the Human Rights Commission (HRC) of Sonoma County,
to speak on the Commission's recently released report on the
county's website,
Human Right Violations in Santa Rosa California—Policing the
Black Lives Matter Protests. Unfortunately we had trouble
with connecting by telephone. Elaine resorted to Plan B
and played more songs interspersed with poetry, including some of
her own. She comments on how similar the reaction to Black Lives
Matter protests was what the women suffragists suffered in parades
and demonstrations for the women's right to vote one hundred years
