God created everything good and when He created us, He called us VERY good. This is the identity we get to live out of! Because God loves us, He only gives us good things. He knows our needs and desires because He gave them to us and He is the only one who can fill them. We can have confidence in our identity because God is good and has called us good!

Episode 6 (by Emily Reinarts) of the 2020-2021 Women's Group talks at the Ohio State University chapter of Saint Paul's Outreach

Reflection Prompts:
We live in a culture of use... of using men and women as a means to an end. Our culture emphasizes this idea of “you do you”. This follows the idea that your needs are most important and your pleasure is most important. This mindset is focused on “What can i get out of this?” St. John Paul II said, “Utilitarian emphasizes usefulness in the whole action of man. The usefulness is what brings pleasure and excludes pain, for pleasure constitutes the essential manifestation of man’s happiness.”
“Each of us is the result of a thought of God. Each of us is willed, each of us is loved, each of us is necessary.” -Pope Benedict XVI
Pray!
"Lord, I ask for the eyes to see how You have created me good and how You have created others good as well. Help me to always seek the good for others and to love and serve others in order to better imitate You."
