For this beautiful and exciting lounge track I was asked to just improvise a few so-called ad libs. The word "ad lib" derives from the Latin expression "ad libitum" meaning "at one's pleasure" or "as you desire". To me as an artist the most wonderful challenge. Challenge, because it means, I immediately jump into the unknown, have no guidance from outside, but from the inside. Mistakes might happen and the leading comes from a source I know yet cannot describe. Call it creativity for now. The producer records and when the music starts noone knows what will happen next ;)I love it as I am used to jump and have learned to rely on a fountain of melody ideas, the producers have to stop me.
