So much of what we learned in movies, story books, and church about Christmas is wrong or simply tradition that has no basis in biblical revelation. The Bible doesn't tell us that Mary rode a donkey. Nor does it say an innkeeper offered Joseph and Mary a place in his barn for the night. These traditions have arisen, but have no basis in the Bible.
