HI BESTIES! WELCOME BACKKKK! This week everyone meet Robert McLeroy we’re getting Bob Saget Vibes. As a child, Robert discovered his love for character acting by mimicking scenes from films such as The Wizard of Oz and Mary Poppins. Having grown up in a small Alabama town, Robert's only creative outlets were show choir and church plays but it wasn't until he enrolled at Auburn University that he began to hone his craft at the Telfair Peet Theatre. Robert would eventually receive his degree in Radio/Television/Film from Auburn and after graduation he pursued careers in a variety of industries but ultimately returned to his first love of acting which lead him to move to Atlanta, GA in 2014. Robert is also an improviser, standup comedian and has been featured in comedic sketches throughout his career. This week Rob shares his journey how he got started with everything. We talk the highs and lows of his journey. We talk Roberts role in Dopesick and how he channeled his emotions for this role. We talk his newest role on The Wonder Years Reboot and how/why it was the most rewarding experience on set. We talk identity issues and transitioning into standup. Robert talks about his experience in Lace Larabeees Laugh Lab. We talk the last time he cried and how it may have very well been on this podcast. This is a great one we appreciate Rob and all his support. Give him a follow and check him out. The #TanaTalksPodcast is a space where Comedy & Healing Unite. A creative community built on being real. A space where all cultures, ideas, views, and life are welcome. Hosted by Stand Up Comedian, Montana Doran. She believes you matter, your story matters, & you should talk about it. #MontanaDoran #TanaTalksPodcast #CreativeCommunity #ComedyInterviews #TalksWithComedians #ActorInterviews #Actor
