Gina McKee, Molly Parker and Shirley Henderson are sisters searching for connection and direction in Michael Winterbottom’s tapestry of urban melancholy, Wonderland (1999). Michael Nyman’s score and Sean Bobbit’s cinematography make it one of the most atmospheric and memorable films of its era.
