I was surprised by just how much was in store at the end. A ruby red carbon star, wow! Galaxies eating each other, and I suppose information all worthwhile just shoved in there. The idea that the big dipper is a really close open cluster zipping by was just amazing. Who else but Astro Bob could pull of an epilogue about his dog. The idea of time is really intense. For me in my really isolated moments I think well at least I have the stars. It was powerful to me is that connection, and death is such a relative and intensely private affair.
