Rachel Trachtenburg is back at it with a new band. We know her from the cute and quirky Supercute!, The Prettiots, and The Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players, but now she’s heading up a dreamy indie rock band - with some post-punk touches - that we’re really digging. At this point, Rachel is a true veteran of the local scene, having been actively recording and performing for over 15 years now, and all that experience certainly comes through. With Wooing, she takes more of a lead than ever before, and is joined by some excellent musicians to help out (here you may recognize drummer Rosie Slater from New Myths). Check them out in this session recorded live at Serious Business Music in DUMBO, and let their new EP be your summer soundtrack!
Wooing’s debut EP, Daydream Time Machine, is available now.
