At long last we have our hands on the much-touted Cyberpunk 2077, and the verdict is... not great. In this episode, the guys dive into the good, the bad, and the ugly of CD Projekt Red's latest effort.
In this episode, Justin and Kyle share their thoughts on the Playstation 5 after using it for a few weeks. Justin (and his daughter) still love Astro's Playroom. Kyle loves Miles Morales and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but isn't crazy about Bugsnax. Justin works through his backlog and finally finishes Death Stranding and nearly finishes The Last of Us.
We got the Playstation 5. No, really... Each of us got a PS5!
Though exhausted from work and gaming on the latest and greatest, the guys take some time to discuss Sony's new console and several of its launch titles. Astro's Playroom takes them (and everyone else) by surprise as a favorite. Kyle gets a second job as a superhero in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Justin slaughters scores of Anglo-Saxons in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. We even get a quick peek at the quirky Bugsnax, as well as last-gen favorites No Man's Sky and Ghost of Tsushima.
Oi, gov! This 'ere episode the lads give the dickey bird on Watch Dogs: Legion. Justin passes the time to Cyberpunk with an old fling in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. They talk Switch Cloud Games, which... you know, are apparently a thing now? And both are counting down the days until they get their hands on next-gen hardware with the PS5.
Wrapping up the Halloween season, the guys discuss zombies and horror in their brief time with Resident Evil 7. Justin spends some time with some old and yet kinda new Mario. Kyle plays Immortals: Fenyx Rising and Humankind demos on Stadia. They both shed tears of sadness over the latest Cyberpunk 2077 delay, and tears of joy over the beautiful reveals of the PS5. And lastly, if you can't get enough subscription game services, the guys try to sell you on Ubisoft Plus.
Schedules? Who needs schedules?!
With the release of the 13th major update to No Man's Sky, we jump back into the game to see what's new. Kyle tries it on his Android phone, while Justin plays on everything in his house.
To kick off their bi-weekly show, hosts Justin and Kyle decide to finally give Fortnite a try, joining the rest of the gaming world. The game turns out to be something of a surprise to them both.
