Time. Time is at the center of everything we do, and this week, it is at the center of this episode of Words From a Wallflower Podcast. First, we dive into the early days of this podcast, what each of the first episodes mean to me, and what that means for Words From a Wallflower in the future. Then, I talk about how time plays a huge role in every aspect of our daily lives and how we can take charge of our time in order to truly reflect what we care about. 

How do you answer the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Has your answer evolved over time? For me, I've struggled with my answer to this question, considering careers in medicine, education, and the restaurant industry. Society puts a lot of pressure on us to know what we want to do with our lives. But, maybe it's okay to change your mind. Spoiler Alert: I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

School lunch. To some, it's a dream, but to others, a total nightmare. This episode dives in to the truth about that 38-minute lunch block and how impactful it can be when you're an outsider in every "friend" group, and how "fitting in" is not all it's made out to be. I'm not going to lie, this episode was a bit of a tear-jerker for me, as silly as it sounds, "but it's the truth. And sometimes the truth is sad."
