So many times the media, family and friends talk about battling cancer. We hear it more often when someone has passed away in the terms of "losing their battle with cancer." Dr. Michelle Riba, director of the PsychOncololgy program at the Rogel Cancer Center and associate director of the University of Michigan Comprehensive Depression Center, shares why we should not use militaristic language in talking about cancer.
