As the people of God, we are to place our words under the Word of God. We need to allow our words to be shaped by God’s Word and Spirit according to the example of his Son, as the Psalm prayed, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord my strength and my Redeemer”. Proverbs this morning is calling us to speak Wise Words that give life.
