Last week I have visited Auswitz in Poland. When entering the camp there is a big sign on the gate that says: “Arbeit Macht Frei”. This translates to: Work makes free.

The Nazi’s said that when you work hard enough, one day you will be free. But the truth was far away: only death could make a prisoner free.

I think this applies to today as well. So many people work with the illusion that one day they can be free and retire. The truth if far away!
