On this episode of the Mid-Week Main Point Jeff, Jeremiah, and Blake spent the first few minutes of the podcast in prayer for Jonathan's mission team in Armenia. Then, the remainder of this episode was spent discussing Jonathan's sermon from Sunday, September 4th titled, "Work Out Your Own Salvation?" The text for the sermon was Philippians 2:12-13. A few of the specific topics we discussed were: What does fear and trembling mean? Is Paul advocating for a works based salvation? A Buddha quote similar to, but way different from the Bible. Community. And the example of Jesus.
