Gun violence has become so rampant that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo “issued the first-in-the-nation executive order declaring gun violence in New York as a disaster emergency."
Residents of New York and the neighboring commuting Tri-State area, including New Jersey and Connecticut, are pushing back on returning, citing both physical and health safety reasons.
