"Amazing grace--how sweet the sound…" God’s grace is offered unconditionally—we cannot earn it or do anything to achieve it. Though none of us deserve a relationship with God, God has moved into our lives. He saved us not only from ourselves but also from powers of sin and death far greater than we can handle on our own. Don't take grace lightly. We can only begin to imagine the pain Jesus went through to make this gift possible. Add to that the pain of the Father, who could only stand by and watch, and grace becomes unimaginable. Is it any wonder that grace is called amazing?
