Christopher Pellegrini is the founder of Honkaku spirits, an artisanal Japanese spirits company. He has been making alcohol since he was a teen brewing beer at a local distillery where he grew up in Vermont.
After moving to Tokyo he discovered Shochu and Awamori. He felt that western markets were missing out on these traditional Japanese spirits.
Through Honkaku spirits Christopher is now on a mission to increase global knowledge of these beverages and continue to shape opinions of this unique category of drinks in the west.
