Listen in as Marcie and Lovey visit with Marsha Gilford, Regional Corporate Affairs Director for the Southwest Region of the Kroger Company, the largest traditional grocery retailer in the United States. Marsha stops by to talk about a communication program she and Kroger created about the difference between service dogs and pets. We love their educational and positive approach to the hot topic issue of fake service dogs. Marsha shares with us how Kroger is educating customers and store managers about differentiating assistance dogs from pets, and helping customers understand the reasons Kroger welcomes assistance dogs in their stores and not pets.
