Hello everyone! Today we have @simplyhossien on to catch a laugh and share a conversation surrounding working smart and not hard, as well as the art of happiness. Hossein was born in Iran and shares his experience moving to Canada, along with the culture shock and transition to English; and the differences between first-generation immigrants vs people born in Canada. Hard work means different things to different people, smart work can be done sooner rather than later putting you on the right path. We ask what does it mean to be 'smart' ? " it depends on where your goal is. you might be an idiot at gardening, but you might be amazing at things you are supposed to. To be smart, you have to be smart in things that apply to your goal" - Hossein. Are we able to set aside our ego in order to refrain from sinking the ship when we fail? What do you define your happiness to be? Is your happiness dependent on others or yourself? Overall this episode contains laughs all around and good conversations :) #notalone
