In 2016 Ben founded a charity for contemporary veterans called Remount. As the Chairman and Founder of Remount and along with our family of volunteers, Remount delivers horsemanship programs for contemporary veterans suffering mental health challenges or PTSD as a result of their service. Remount has hosted over 250 veterans since commencing operations. These programs are offered at no cost to the participant. Remount uses horses and cattle to provide a unique circuit breaker, and offers veterans and their families a transformational mental health break. Remount teaches people that horses protract a representation of themselves and as such gives insight into their own value set.
