  • Started writing songs at age 6 and was always writing songs, started first serious band at age 15
  • In his early 20's at the time he was a door-to-door salesman selling windows/doors/roofs/vinyl siding
  • It was great training for being an entrepreneur
  • "I went to college for literally 45 minutes"
  • At age 23 one of his songs landed on the desk of a record producer and 6 months later he had a #1 hit on the radio
  • Later he had placed more of Jason's songs on records
  • Jason broke into the business as a song writer and then was unbelievably driven, he would cold call record labels and beg for 5 minutes to pitch his song
  • "I had a very unique gifting where...I had a vision for what someone could be"
  • "I'm almost always a father figure to people I work with"
  • Jason has done the job of just about everyone he works with, which helps a lot
  • When Jason was 18, he worked in a record store and his boss noticed that Jason was constantly looking for what needs to be done next and suggested he would be a good store manager
  • "I have a huge appetite for exploring new horizons and just seeing how far can I take this life journey"
  • "I don't care about losing money, I don't care about the risk, I'm in it for the joy of the journey"
  • "Life is like a journey meant to be enjoyed, not meant to be lived in fear" 
  • Jason's first business was signing artists and representing them, sort of a mini-publishing company
  • Some of Jason's different businesses is based on different genre's of music
  • Jason partners with others because of the chemistry between them and the talent he sees in someone else
  • Jason is wide open to whatever God is showing him and is looking for people that excite and inspire him
  • All of his companies are small with a small number of employees but they outsource a lot
  • What people tell you about your behavior can be a good indicator of what should be kept vs removed from you personality after you're saved
  • "I love the story that God has written for me and so I wouldn't change anything"
  • "You don't have to build Rome in 1 day"
