Lex Gillette is the most successful Parlaympic Long Jumper in U.S. history. Having lost his sight at the age of 8 he found himself discovering athletics in school in San Diego through the drive of his mother and his coach Mr Wilmor.
Lex has gone on to take 4 medals at Patralympics Games and become World Champion 4 times. He is also the current World Record holder. But he is about so much more that athletics. Lex is also a deep thinker and thought leader on the importance of difficult conversations,. having trust in your teammates, and being true to who you are in the corporate world.
He has strong opinions on the BLM movement and how his friends saying they don't see colour is more him difficult to comprehend as he lives in a world without colour.
