It's World Cancer Day. We heard from the voices of Gibraltar’s cancer charities, the people supporting patients and families every single day, and the message that prevention, early detection and community support truly save lives. We spoke to representatives from Cancer Relief, RICC, Cancer Research, Breast Cancer Gibraltar, as well as messages from other local cancer charities.
We also discussed the weather, as the Campo de Gibraltar has been battered overnight by Storm Leonardo, prompting the Andalusian regional government to issue a red alert across the area. In Gibraltar, however, authorities have issued a weather advisory for gale-force winds and heavy rain, rather than the more serious weather warning. Kevin Ruiz brought us the latest.
