On the previous episode, we took a stroll around Epcot's Future World. If you missed it, I encourage you to go back and check it out. But not necessarily right now.

Like the other Disney parks, the wonderful thing about Epcot Center is that there's no "proper" way to explore Epcot. There are, however, plenty of opinions about the correct way to experience my favorite park. And yes, I have my own thoughts. Which is why, for our walk around Epcot's World Showcase, we'll begin at the Port of Entry and then proceed, clockwise, making our way from Mexico to Canada.

World Showcase is arguably what makes Epcot the favorite park for so many people. Walt Disney enjoyed traveling the world with his family, bringing ideas back that made their way into his park and future plans. And, for all of Walt’s daydreaming of castles and faraway kingdoms, it’s easy to imagine the joy and delight he would have felt as he explored each of the eleven nations represented Here.

A vibrant collection of cultures, traditions, and the people who have carried them from generation to generation, World Showcase is exactly that - an exhibition of timeless stories and breathtaking spaces, both exotic and familiar. As we wander through each, see if you can make out, not just the transition points that introduce us to our next destination, but also the hidden alcoves and tranquil spaces that invite us to pause -- and let the Magic come to us.
