WWII U.S. Marine Combat Veteran C.J. LACROSS was an orphan in Detroit during the Great Depression. He was helped by Henry Ford who provided him a trade in machining. As a teenager, he voluntarily joined the U.S. Marines during World War II where he was sent into combat in the Pacific Theater.
